Senior Battery Developer
**About the Role**: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Battery Scientist to work with our team in a laboratory setting.
This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires advanced knowledge of Python and experience working with battery models and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical and physical models of lithium-ion batteries
- Apply lab-based learnings to field data for prognostic recommendations and problem identification
- Implement, test, and validate models with field data
- Report on ongoing lab testing
- Write documentation on algorithm and model improvements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, as well as experience working with battery characterization.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python programming languages
- 5-7 years of industry experience
- A Ph. D with a focus in Batteries/Battery Modeling
- Knowledge of LFP/Degradation/Cycling
