About the role:
Need a manual QA Test Engineer with strong Oracle backend testing skills and UNIX (Linux) skills. Will be working on an Oracle PL/SQL application development Agile team, doing back-end PL/SQL coding and testing that code. Seeking a self-starter who is independent with extensive Oracle SQL knowledge.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 6 – 8 years of significant Quality Assurance background, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Oracle Databases and API validations.
- Minimum 4 years of experience using Linux (RHEL) Operating systems.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in doing the End-to-end (E2E) validation that verifies an application's workflow from start to finish.
- Self-driven understanding of Oracle Data Model against application functionality and performing validations
- Significant experience with industry-leading Quality Assurance related tools.
- Proven excellence in solving complex problems related to software testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Significant experience testing web applications.
- Proficient skills in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- A background in the healthcare industry
- Development/programming experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Writes and maintains test scripts using Jira (X-Ray).
- Develops, publishes, and implements test plans.
- Develop quality assurance standards.
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Provide post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow.
- Perform End-to-End feature/story validations.
- Communicate with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results.
- Complete all responsibilities outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. Required
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Required
- Initiate tasks without needing constant supervision and can effectively manage their workload to meet deadlines.

Salary : $55 - $65
