What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Reliability Engineer position at Motion Recruitment?
Our client, one of the country's largest lending-exclusive financial company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Site Reliability Engineer. This role is hybrid in Charlotte, North Carolina.
*This is a 6 month W2 contract*
In this role, you will ensure that every step of a new transaction has proper logging to provide an accurate reporting. The team is looking for someone to be able to provide project specific requirements to development teams for project/release relative to logging, monitoring & alerting.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure alerts contain standardized payload as defined in the SRE procedures
- Work closely with Level2 and Level3 to ensure all process changes are reflected in existing dashboards in use by the EMC
- Ensure proper alert thresholds are maintained
- Create and maintain dashboards
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience
- AWS/Azure experience
