Senior Frontend Engineer

Location : Remote or Birmingham, AL

Salary Range : $135k - $165k

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with full-stack capabilities to help shape the foundation of a geospatial analytics platform for the out-of-home advertising industry. You will design intuitive, scalable interfaces, contribute to backend services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help clients optimize their campaigns.

What Success Looks Like :

  • Lead frontend development, creating intuitive interfaces with React.
  • Champion best practices for scalable, maintainable code.
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Contribute to backend APIs and services to support frontend functionality.
  • Work on strategic initiatives, integrating data insights and innovative technologies.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Architect and implement sophisticated React-based frontend solutions (70%).
  • Design and develop backend APIs and services (20%).
  • Optimize application performance across the full stack (10%).
  • Ensure quality through clean code, thoughtful estimates, and QA.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation.

    • Requirements :

  • Expert-level JavaScript / TypeScript skills.
  • Strong experience with React and modern frontend tools.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, Node.js, and backend principles.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with responsive design, SCSS / CSS, and SQL.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with data visualization, mapping libraries, or LLM APIs.
  • Familiarity with dashboard design, PWAs, and server-side rendering.
  • UI / UX design and PDF generation from HTML / CSS.
