Storage System Engineer

3-month contract

Onsite in Fort Worth, TX

The customer's existing environment consists of storage solutions from Dell Technologies and Pure Storage, as well as Cisco SAN components. Specific products include:

• PowerStore
• Isilon/PowerScale
• PowerFlex
• VxRail
• Pure Flash Blade (Gen 1)

Resource responsibilities would include the following:

1. Storage System Administration - Implementation and tracking of configuration changes requested to meet organizational needs
2. Performance Tuning - Optimizing storage systems for better performance and efficiency.
3. Capacity Planning - Assist with forecasting storage needs and planning for future capacity requirements.
4. Data Placement/Migration: Moving data between different storage systems or environments as required.
5. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving storage-related issues, including FC/SAN issues and Zoning request
6. Security - Assist with ensuring the security and integrity of stored data, in alignment with customer's established procedures and practices
7. Documentation - Maintaining documentation of storage configurations and procedures.
