Supervisor of Quality and Manufacturing Support

Job Description A major telecommunications company is hiring for a Supervisor of Quality and Manufacturing Support to their team. As a supervisor you’ll be responsible for overseeing teams of technicians who test the physical hardware of devices that support fiber optic cables. You’ll also assist in manufacturing support. The company is one of the globe’s largest connectivity providers and has laid over 50% of the world’s fiber optic networks. You’ll be responsible for utilizing the company’s QMS system and coach technicians in using this system, you’ll also provide technical and manufacturing support. Their ERP system is Oracle. Ideal candidates have a background in a quality environment as well as a technical background in some form of engineering. Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled in Quality Management Systems
• A technical background electrical, mechanical, or software engineering
• 3 years of experience being in a manager or supervisor role
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in the telecommunications industry
• 8 years of quality experience
• Degree in an engineering field
  
  

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Overseeing manufacturing operations and manufactured products by supervising engineering technicians and text technicians.
