What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at Motion Recruitment?
A growing MSP in the area is looking to hire a System Administrator to join their team of IT Specialists. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of IT support experience. The ideal candidate will have past MSP experience.
Your daily duties will include performing a variety of IT tasks for our highly valued clients on-site at their offices. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining servers, firewalls, switches, Office 365, Exchange, PCs, Macs, and printers. You will also be asked to work on various IT-related systems and software, such as phones, modems, and displays. The ability to learn and adapt quickly is a must; you need to be able to think on your feet and work independently.
Required Skills & Experience
7 years of IT support experience
Experience working for an MSP
Familiarity with AWS or Azure
Knowledge of RMM and PSA software is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Configuring and maintaining IT infrastructure (servers, firewalls, switches, etc.)
Supporting Office 365, Exchange, PCs, Macs, and printers
Working on various IT-related systems (phones, modems, displays, etc.)
Providing on-site support to clients
Learning and adapting to new technologies quickly
