Our client, a grocery retail company, is looking for a System Analyst to join their team!
Location (Hybrid) : Ability to commute to the (1st) Carlisle, (2nd) Quincy and (3rd) Salisbury location in the office at least three times per week as needed.
5 Must Haves :
1. Strong Systems Analyst skills
2. Advanced Excel Skills v-look ups; pivot tables; data visualization / graphs
3. Understanding of various technologies used in retail domain
4. Familiar with applications infrastructure
5. Strong communications skills ability to communicate with business stakeholders and IT leaders
6. Great to have experience in application rationalization
Certification / Degree : Nice to have BS in IT, not a must. Years of experience : 3 plus years of relevant experience
The candidate will lead the analysis of our application landscape to support our application rationalization initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing technical currency, improving application resiliency, and optimizing our application footprint. The candidate will be responsible for capturing and analyzing application data, identifying, and resolving data anomalies, and tracking down missing information. Additionally, the candidate will form hypotheses and make recommendations based on their analysis of what applications should prioritized by the application rationalization effort. They will also identify areas for improvement in data collection processes or systems and suggest corrective actions.
