Our client, a well-known gas and electric provider, is actively hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. This role will be hybrid and require candidates onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits offered!*
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling interviews as well as ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process for candidates. You will also support compliance checks throughout the onboarding process including I-9 verifications to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule interviews for job requisitions
- Communicate with recruiting partners, candidates, and hiring leaders to keep them informed of interview schedules
- Assist in the collection and verification of 1-9 documentation for new hires to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize Workday to access resumes and input data
Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management
- 2-4 years of experience in recruiting
- Experience with Workday
- Prior experience working with Human Resources specifically with handling compliance tasks
