Job Description:
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure management, or software development.
- Hands-on experience with Tanium, including developing automation and API-based integrations.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Knowledge of API development, platform automation, and integration best practices.
- Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with asset management platforms such as Tanium, Flexera, or Claroty.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Full stack development experience (e.g., Python, React, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with Agile project management and DevOps practices.
- Cross-platform experience supporting asset management platforms such as Tanium, Claroty, and Flexera.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Skills & Certifications
- Expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Proficiency in asset management platform administration and automation development.
- Experience with API-based integrations, automation frameworks, and Power BI reporting.
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure) is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop automation solutions to optimize Tanium operations, including agent deployments, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Build and maintain API integrations between Tanium and other platforms (e.g., Flexera, Claroty, SCCM, security tools).
- Create custom scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate tasks like agent health checks, updates, and data analysis.
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on asset discovery and compliance.
- Support and troubleshoot Tanium agents and infrastructure to ensure platform stability.
- Collaborate with SAM analysts, cybersecurity teams, and application engineers to improve enterprise asset visibility.
- Document technical processes, including API workflows, integration guides, and automation scripts.
- Assist with platform updates, patching, and performance optimization to ensure high availability and security.
