What are the responsibilities and job description for the TDM Circuit Design Engineer position at Motion Recruitment?
We are a leading provider of Telecommunication services and technologies. We are seeking a TDM Circuit Design Engineer for a long term project of ours with a tier 1 carrier. The Circuit Design Engineer will be responsible for receiving TDM DS0 circuit lists to evaluate circuit status and create appropriate documentation and action plans. This role analyzes myriad data points and automated test results to determine the validity of the circuit. The specialist will partner with internal and external teams to resolve any questions or issues on each circuit prior to triggering a disconnect request.
Candidates should be familiar with and able to interpret readings from DS0 test sets, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.

- Former AT&T employee
- 8 Years telecommunications specializing in
- TDM DS0 NOC Tier II or Tier III Service Assurance or
- TDM DS0 Service Delivery or Provisioning
- Proven experience testing, troubleshooting, validating TDM DS0 circuits
- Demonstrated strong understanding of TDM Architecture and Services (DS0, DS1, DS3, etc.)
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to balance priorities and multitask effectively]
- Review Excel spreadsheet trackers showing circuit lists
- Analyze test results, bit patterns and data for each circuit
- Add notes documenting analysis and conclusions
- Determine next appropriate steps for each circuit
- Support downstream teams during implementation as needed
