What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology and Facility Controls Engineer / IT Support Specialist position at Motion Recruitment?
We are partnered with an investment company that is seeking a Technology and Facility Controls Engineer to join the engineering team at their private estate. They are looking for a highly technical individual who is eager to learn, has excellent communication skills, and superior problem-solving skills.
This is a unique opportunity that will be more an IT support type role. In this position you will be responsible for mobile device management of iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs, and other tablets, setting up laptops, PC’s and other computing equipment, testing and programming home audio systems, maintaining Access Points for a large Wi-Fi network, testing and programming home audio systems, setting up and testing surveillance equipment, and installing car dashboard cams.
Other tasks may include, some networking design and maintenance, scripting, SAN management, backup systems management, MS Exchange administration, disaster recovery systems, home / office automation systems, antivirus / security management, and videoconferencing support. A general knowledge of Windows and iOS would be helpful. Previous white glove or executive support experience is helpful as you will have some interaction with the owner.
This is a full-time direct hire position, on-site working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 6 : 00pm and occasional after-hours / weekend work as needed – you will be the point of contact for any IT outages / needs. This position is in Fort Worth, TX with occasional travel to other estates or the corporate office.
