About this role:
A Category Manager is a vital member of the Product Team, curating product assortment and merchandising strategy for a category - ensuring that we connect the right products with the right customers through all sales channels. You will be expected to meet or exceed revenue and gross margin targets while increasing conversion and customer satisfaction.
Youll be responsible for:
Planning and implementing growth strategies of new and existing product categories
Researching and identifying innovative, industry-changing new products that enhance assortment and grow our increasing market share
Driving leading-edge, competitive product assortments
Preparing business analyses, including revenue, gross margin and channel selling, as well as competitive analysis (gap analysis)
Partnering and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sourcing and Creative to ensure goals are met
Managing relationships with suppliers to create first-class, beneficial partnerships
Clear communication of business updates to key stakeholders
Bachelors degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Marketing)
3-5 years of Category Management experience in a high growth retail/ecommerce organization
