Description
Motis Brands is seeking a skilled and strategic IT Director to oversee the Company’s technology systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing IT projects, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the security and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct technology-related activities by determining the technology needs of the company and making hardware- and software-related decisions to meet those needs.
- Manage inventory of hardware components, ensuring adequate stock and replacement plans.
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in emergencies or data loss.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Evaluate current technology use, needs of the company, and recommend software and hardware improvements.
- Facilitate IT compliance, including PCI audits, cyber insurance reviewed and other investigations
- Manage licensing agreements and renewals for software and telecommunication services.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that improve efficiency
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues, escalating when necessary to specialized support teams or vendors.
- Manage the company’s phone system, including setup, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science required
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in IT Operations; Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience leading and managing IT projects
- Experience with enterprise network/system set up and maintenance
- Strong understanding of IT systems and network engineering
- Familiarity with credit card and ecommerce platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with IT governance practices and compliance standards
