Position Overview :

The Clean Products Supply Manager works on Motiva's Manufacturing Optimization Team and reports to the Director of Commercial Supply, Clean Products. The Commercial Supply team is responsible to optimize and clear refinery products, mandate the purchases of products required to satisfy the FSM short, and facilitate the relationship with Aramco Trading America's (ATA) in the commodity trading markets. This individual will interact daily with the ATA Gasoline and Distillate Trading teams, Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex teams, 3rd Party Commercial teams, and the FSM Fuel Supply & Economics team.

Responsibilities :

• Works closely with Gasoline and Distillate trading, manufacturing planning, refinery clean products optimizer, and refining stakeholders to maximize product values in sync with production and the planning cycles, maximizing margin for Motiva.
• Act as primary commercial liaison with ATA, looking at the implementation of synergistic trading strategies to add value to the bottom line of Motiva and Aramco, within the legal framework, tax codes and other applicable compliance requirements.
• Maintain a strong Compliance culture and adhere to Motiva Business Principles.
• Enter all transactions into the trading and risk management system of record and take primary responsibility to ensure trades are entered correctly and on time as per mid-office and compliance requirements.
• Leverage market and logistics knowledge to optimize the supply of Motiva's marketing shorts
• Share knowledge of hydrocarbon market fundamentals, refinery economics, and logistics landscape with colleagues to encourage dialogue and strengthen understanding of profitability drivers.
• Provide advice on market drivers, optimization opportunities, strategy, turnaround planning, critical negotiations of clean product and logistics contracts, new IT solutions, and on the conceptualization and implementation of major commercial deals across the company.
• Coordinate with the Refinery Planning & Scheduling teams on the development of processes and plans to better reflect market conditions and clean product availabilities in the optimization models that simulate the specific refining and distribution systems.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with Fuel Sales & Marketing, Refining, Finance Middle / Back Office teams.
• Identify, develop, document, implement, measure, track, and report work processes, performance metrics, and key performance indicators as directed by the Director Clean Products Commercial Supply to strengthen the clean product supply trading and coordination activities with all internal stakeholders.
• Develop, and execute risk management strategies when applicable.
• Oversee all transaction steps from contract preparation, scheduling, delivery, billing, and payment. The Clean Product Supply Manager is primary customer contact and owner of every negotiated transaction from first trading partner contact to final payment.
• Engage with the Credit and Treasury departments to devise innovative controls of payables and receivables according to the negotiated contracts or transactions.
• Key person responsible for working tracking and driving Trading based clean product Optimizations
