Position Overview :
This mid-career Process Engineer will provide process engineering support to production organizations to ensure excellence in Process Safety, Reliability, Change Management, Production Planning, Turnaround Planning, and Cost Optimization. This role works closely with Unit Process Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and Production Counterparts.
Responsibilities :
- Provide process engineering support for assigned operational units and processes.
- Provide daily proactive technical monitoring and troubleshooting for assigned areas.
- Assist with he design, implementation, and operational oversight of refinery equipment and systems (i.e. distillation columns, reactors, heat exchangers).
- Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment failures and process inefficiencies to ensure continuous and safe operation.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions about process improvement and optimization.
- Serve as a team member on projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and plant modifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and management to ensure work is actively aligned and communicated.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and procedures, conducting safety assessments, hazard analyses, and safety reviews as required.
