Position Overview :
As a Senior Data Governance & Management Analyst , you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data assets across the organization. In this role, you will help define and implement an enterprise-wide data governance strategy, including the development of policies, standards, and best practices to improve data quality and ensure compliance.
This is an in-office role located at our Downtown Houston headquarters, reporting directly to the Manager of Data Governance & Management within the Data Strategy & Management Team.
Responsibilities :
- Aide in defining and maintaining data governance frameworks, principles, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and data consumers to establish data governance roles and responsibilities
- Conduct data compliance assessments and audits, and implement data governance improvement plans
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs
- Identify, report and resolve data issues and risks, and escalate them as needed
- Provide guidance and support for data governance initiatives and projects
- Develop and maintain data governance documentation and training materials
- Stay updated on data governance best practices and industry standards
