Motivate is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a large team of regular and seasonal employees for bike fleet operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in bike sharing operations and expansion throughout the greater New York City area. About the Role Supervise daily operations to optimize inspection and repairs; ensure all operations are carried out per Motivate standards Lead a supervisory team who oversees union bike mechanics, full cycle employee oversight and engagement Manage an inventory system for bicycle parts; work directly with supply chain managers to ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner   Assist in creating and implementing processes to further increase efficiency in obtaining established goals and team management strategies  Follow safe work practices and help to champion a safe working environment About You You have previous experience successfully managing a large, people-centric operation; distribution, repair/service center, warehousing, or logistics preferred; Experience with union and/or seasonal workforce preferred. Undergraduate degree in Business or related preferred You are an experience manager who leads by example and understands how to best motivate/encourage your team while completing all managerial activities You are a self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through, think critically, and apply analytical problem solving with a high degree of judgment You are technology proficient: MS Office, Slack, Tableau and other data, planning, and communications software About Motivate We are the premier micromobility service operations and infrastructure experts, delivering bikeshare operations management services to many of the nation’s largest cities.
