Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading Coach to coach our cheer program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a love for working with young athletes. This role involves teaching cheerleading techniques, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. The Cheerleading Coach will be responsible for developing skills, planning practices, and preparing teams for competitions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance cheerleading skills, including stunts, jumps, and routines.
- Organize and conduct regular practice sessions to improve team performance and cohesion.
- Teach proper techniques for cheerleading movements while ensuring the safety of all participants.
- Foster a supportive team environment that encourages personal growth and teamwork among athletes.
- Collaborate with parents, school officials, and other coaches to promote the cheer program effectively.
- Plan and oversee participation in competitions and events, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their skills and confidence.
- Maintain a positive attitude that motivates athletes to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or as a cheerleading coach is preferred.
- Background in related fields such as basketball, gymnastics, karate, judo, or teaching physical education is advantageous.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or health club setting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

- Monday to Friday
