Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing curriculum and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning.
- Work closely with students, particularly those with disabilities or autism, to promote engagement and participation.
- Help manage behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and individualized support.
- Collaborate with educators in the development of lesson plans and educational materials.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce concepts taught in class.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and behavior.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages respect, understanding, and collaboration among all students.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, including behavior management strategies for students with disabilities or autism.
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus, as well as the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders.
