Job Description
Gather and prepare cost estimates for the design, engineering, materials, and installation of steel carports, RV canopies, solar support structures, and other steel canopies in support of project bid requests.
- Maintain records of bid logs, estimated bids, and actual costs.
- Collaborate with estimating teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
- Develop quote and proposal documents and adjust work scope to match bid quotes.
- Identify factors affecting costs, such as material price increases and project locations.
- Analyze and adjust estimates as needed by reviewing estimates with the estimating department.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs.
