The firm is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal for the firm’s Hartford, CT office . Key responsibilities will include :
- Organizing case files and discovery materials
- Filing court / arbitration docs electronically
- Maintaining detailed records and databases
- Tracking deadlines and maintaining calendars
- High-level proficiency with Excel (set up spreadsheet to sort / filter / create pivot tables / print in a readable format) and Word (styles, TOC / TOA)
Applicants should have strong organizational & communication skills and be proficient in Excel. Knowledge of legal terminology and the arbitration process a plus.
