What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lube/Tire Technician position at Moto United Powersports?
The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the Powersports industry with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services efficiently and accurately
• Inspect and top off fluids, including coolant, transmission, brake, and washer fluids
• Rotate, balance, and inspect tires, reporting any issues to senior technicians
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures and safety protocols
• Assist service technicians and service advisors as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
Qualifications:
• Passion for powersports and extensive knowledge of repairs to various powersports brands such as Polaris, Indian, Can-Am and Triumph
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with Lightspeed or similar point-of-sale software, or the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Must supply and maintain your own tools
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Able to bend, lift and twist if needed
Requirements:

• Current valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record, no blemishes
• Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles
