Motoplex continues to grow with stores in Norfolk and Columbus. Selling Polaris, Can-am, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, ROXOR and Gravely machines.
Motoplex of Norfolk and Motoplex of Columbus are both looking for Sales Associates to join our growing team. In this role, you will meet with customers to discuss their needs, promote sales offers, and show prospective customers vehicles.
You should understand and present the characteristics, capabilities, and features of vehicles; develop and close sales. We will help train and equip motivated individuals to be successful!
- Provide customers with professional, clear and courteous sale.
- Expanding customer base and strengthen the loyalty of existing customers through consistent follow up, answering questions and accepting and acting on feedback, recommending promotions and sales campaigns.
- Telephone, communication and listening skills. Must be able to communicate and explain technical jargon to a layman easily.
- Must possess qualities, such as excellent negotiation and persuasive skills, both in terms of new and used power sports equipment.
- Performing a walk-around with old and new customers and demonstrating features of vehicles that they are interested in.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our current inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make a purchase
- Sealing the deal after negotiating the price, overcoming objection, completing purchase or sales contracts, explaining financing options, warranties and services.
- Suggestion of upgrades and accessories for unit sales
- Neat appearance and smart personality. A positive attitude towards customers.
- Customer focus. Efficiently answering customers’ queries and solving concerns.
- Establishing and maintaining a follow-up system with customers to encourage increased business referrals.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with peer, internal business departments
- Must demonstrate consistency, accuracy and follow-through.

- Work with coworkers to grow our customer base
- Assist in setting up and maintaining the sales lot or the showroom floor for promotions and to put new models on display
- Collaborate with co-workers to offer attractive deals on new and used vehicles to interested customers
- Having a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our product lines and their features.
- Accurate completion of all sales documents and collection of funds for completed sales.
- Collection of titles for trade-ins.
- Keeping organized accurate notes of inquiries to maintain customer confidence.
- Maintain accurate inventory.
- Documentation and financial skills
- A current and valid driver’s license
- A minimum of one-year experience in the auto or power sports selling industry
- Must be confident, polite and aware of the general matters taking place in the world.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
