Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and production of live broadcasts and recorded segments.
- Operate basic studio equipment such as cameras, audio consoles, teleprompters, and lighting systems.
- Support pre-production tasks, including script review, research, and assembling show rundowns.
- Work with producers to schedule and coordinate interviews, guest appearances, and field shoots.
- Edit audio and video content using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Audacity.
- Collaborate with the social media team to repurpose broadcast content for digital platforms.
- Shadow on-air talent and contribute ideas for stories, segments, and features.
- Perform administrative duties, including logging footage, managing production schedules, and maintaining broadcast archives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in broadcasting, production, or media-related industries.
- Familiarity with editing software and basic production equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-location, if required.
