We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks, as well as fabricating tools and fixtures to support various operational areas.

- Maintain and repair electrical systems, steam boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems
- Service and repair company vehicles, including tractors and forklifts
- Perform maintenance on production equipment, tools, overhead doors, and walk-in doors
- Maintain the plant's water system and emergency sprinkler system
- Fabricate tools and fixtures to support departmental operations
- Education or hands-on experience in a related field is a strong asset
- Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
- Physically able to perform the demands of the job, including bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling, squatting, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, working in confined spaces, and at heights
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment
- On the job training (experience preferred but willing to train)
- This position offers a starting wage of $18.92 per hour. In addition to the starting rate, employees are eligible for an anniversary increase and annual wage adjustments in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement
- 4 days work weeks - enjoy a three day weekend, every week of the year
