Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous Switchgear Quality Control technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee quality control processes, ensuring products adhere to standards and specifications in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that all components and devises are mounted properly, the product is manufactured correctly according to the customer specifications, and that all components function correctly.
- Fill out and file all required documentation in accordance with the necessary electrical listing body (UL, CUL, CSA)
- Ability to interface with engineering and customer to ensure product quality is maintained
- Understands quality standards particular to customer
Skills:
- Understands electrical control troubleshooting methods
- Proficient in reading/interpreting schematics
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard quality measuring instruments
- Understanding of UL, CUL, CSA, and NEC code book
- Ability to evaluate and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiar with PLC and communication applications and troubleshooting
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended durations.
