The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Under the direction of a System Tester, NS equated to G-23, the System Tester Support staff, NS equated to G-18, will be responsible for testing system developments to ensure functionality and quality. The incumbent will use standardized processes and templates to promote positive project outcomes.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Executes and maintains automated and manual testing scripts.• Manages automation testing scripts using various programs.• Delivers regression testing for upgrades, patches, hot fixes, security updates, etc.• Compiles data necessary to execute test scripts.• Identifies errors and defects with the system, documenting issues in detail.• Communicates errors and defects for resolution.• Provides updates to supervisor for system testing activities.• Assists with developing testing schedules.• Supports a collaborative environment that fosters and supports creative solutions and continuous improvement.• Develops external interface testing, validating both inputs and outputs between the two systems.• Demonstrates strong, professional, respectful communication skills in writing and verbally.• Other duties as assigned.
