We're hiring a Building Automation Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll manage the building automation systems across MotorCity's property. Additionally, you'll:
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and other departments to ensure systems operate efficiently and securely.
- Implement best practices and standardized protocols for building automation.
- Ensure all systems are updated, maintained, and compliant with relevant local, state (e.g., MIOSHA), and federal (e.g., OSHA) regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, technicians, and other external partners as necessary.
- Serve as primary contact person for all HVAC and controls vendors.
- Train staff and create documentation on system operations and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation improvements and cost savings.
- Attend trade conferences and continue eduation and certification.
- Serve in a supporting role to the operation and functionality of the Life Safety System and the maintenance of this system.
- Support and assist in maintaining the operation and functionality of the Limble Work Order System and similar systems.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience in building automation, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum four years of experience in building automation, facilities support, maintenance, or related roles.
- Proficiency in building management systems and relevant software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
