We're hiring a part-time Payroll Clerk to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this role, you'll:
- Consistently and accurately process salary and hourly weekly payroll.
- Process hours from timekeeping and attendance system and ensure accuracy of payroll; input payroll information/codes following procedures and rules.
- Stay on top of communications for additional check requests.
- Work cooperatively with Human Resources staff to process new employee paperwork and status changes, analyze and review pay changes, and verify information using discretion and tact in the handling of confidential and sensitive payroll issues.
- Process tax forms and direct deposit information, while ensuring compliance and accuracy of data entry.
- Process wage garnishments and ensure accurate taxation and deductions.
- Pull payroll reports for review and audit purposes with minimal assistance.
- Assist with month-end close and reconciliations.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must have 2-3 years of in-house payroll processing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Working knowledge of UKG Pro is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of journal entries.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with VLOOKUP formulas, pivot tables, etc is strongly desired.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills and a team player.
- Knowledge of general HR laws/practices preferred.
- Flexible availability with schedule.
