Hospitality Manager
MotorCoach Resort Lake Erie Shores is looking for a dynamic and driven full- time Hospitality Manager for our luxury RV MotorCoach Resort campground and residence. Our ideal candidate would be a hospitality professional who is excited about their next opportunity. Looking for a true leader who is eager to create amazing experiences for our rental guests. Working together with the residents and HOA to build the property and ensure owner satisfaction.
Hospitality manager would oversee the rental program throughout the year, making sure that the system runs smoothly with a focus on guests ease for booking. You would work to track pace and revenues throughout the year, maintaining the property’s financial goals.
Our rental season lasts from April – October with property set up in the month of March and the property shut down and clean up in the month of November. The position is full-time - year-round, with the Hospitality manager on property March through November. The position would be remote for the winter months, December, January, and February with limited hours.
Minimum pay rate: Salary Commensurate to Experience
Ideal start date: 4/15/25
Responsibilities
· Help to build profitability of the business with management oversight of all day–to–day operations.
· Direct all lodging, retail, housekeeping and facilities operations to ensure all quality standards are met, and guest expectations exceeded.
· Develop procedures and policies, while implementing policies that elevate staff accountability and service standards.
· Build an environment that is responsible, holding individuals accountable when standards are not met.
· Maintain effective reporting to create and exceed budgeting goals.
· Maintain and build all vendors, owners, and guest relationships. Respond to clients’ requests and creatively resolve issues as they arise.
· Consistent schedule and oversight of on-site and local events for guests delight.
· Ensure accurate communications between teams, residents, and guests.
· Oversee all vendors, monitor, and help maintain schedule with Facilities Manager.
· Keep consistent inventory of stock and retail and amenities items, manage the process for ordering and re-stocking products.
Qualifications
· Experience in Hospitality management.
· Must be able to communicate effectively between entire team, and create a positive work environment
· Strong commitment to guest service
· Excellent time management for self and staff
· Effective problem solver in a high paced seasonal environment
· Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar is preferred
Physical Requirements
· Stand and walk for long periods of time
· Lift up to 25 lbs. at a time
· Must be able walk, bend, twist, pull, push, or crouch throughout shift
