The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) is the national trade association representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, motorcycle/ATV/ROV parts and accessories, and members of allied trades such as insurance, finance and investment firms, media companies and consultants.
The MIC’s membership team is looking for a Membership Coordinator to join the team. This position is responsible for overseeing internal processes and supporting the membership team by managing key administrative tasks, maintaining membership data, and coordinating events. The membership coordinator provides essential support for member recruitment, outreach activities, and relationship-building efforts, ensuring smooth operations within the department and supporting a high-quality member experience.

Essential Job Duties include (but aren’t limited to):
- Assist the Membership Manager with outreach efforts by preparing materials, coordinating follow-up communications, and scheduling meetings
- Provide support in executing marketing campaigns aimed at new member recruitment and retention
- Maintain and update member records in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for renewals, updates, and other membership information
- Prepare regular membership and renewal reports, providing insights for the team and leadership
- Address member inquiries promptly, providing information on membership benefits, resources, and events.
- Serve as a support liaison for the Aftermarket Committee and Dealer Advisory Committee, coordinating communications and organizing meeting logistics
- Coordinate logistics for industry events, including managing travel arrangements, preparing event materials, and scheduling appointments
- Provide support for meetings and events, ensuring smooth execution and positive engagement with current and prospective members
- Assist with the logistical planning for membership meetings, the Annual Member Meeting, and other internal events, including coordinating schedules and preparing materials
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in and administrative or support role, preferably within a membership organization or customer service environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office Suite, and website management – NetSuite experience a plus.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing a positive experience for members
- Ability to travel as needed for events and meetings (roughly 20%).
- Knowledge and passion for the Powersports industry is necessary; previous industry experience highly preferred.
