Accounts Payable Specialist- Part Time

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process across several stores, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This position reports directly to the Group Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.

· Enter and code invoices into the accounting system.

· Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

· Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

· Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

· Maintain vendor files and documentation.

· Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting, as required.

· Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

· Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
