What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Motorenn?
We are Motorenn! We are an automotive dealership startup specializing in high end vehicles. At present we need a accountant who can work with our dealer management software, our service management software, and QuickBooks. We're a tech focused dealership startup and as such our approach and culture is more Silicon Valley than traditional dealership. We're good people and a good team and we want to add to that.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years accounting experience and must be familiar with general ledger analysis and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, payroll and research. This is for both dealership retail operations and dealership service operations.
The accountant may be tasked with other office work in support of dealership operations, which will also provide learning opportunities to advance to higher roles / levels of responsibility.
The accountant position works closely within a team in a fast paced work environment, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a high degree of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
