Job Description
Note: This is a hybrid role in our Schaumburg, IL office.
Overview:
The Lead Test Engineer will be the lead for integration and testing for Motorola Solutions' new Public Safety Suite Ecosystem integration lab. The goal of the lab is to drive integration of Motorola Solutions' entire suite of Public Safety Ecosystem products including PremierOne, Flex, Command Central, Emergency Call Handling, Video, WAVE, ASTRO and third party applications.
The Lead Engineer will design and integrate multiple applications to determine deployability of features or sets of features. This includes implementing various architectural design additions or modifications to existing lab system. This also includes collaboration with product and deployment teams to evaluate release readiness of new features and functionality.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, particularly in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering.
- 2-5 years of direct hands-on experience designing, deploying or testing infrastructure type systems involving clients, servers and applications.
- 2 years of experience with networking design with routers, switches and firewalls.
- 2 years of experience developing Premier One Cad, Flex Cad or ASTRO system test strategies and test cases.
- 2 years of experience in senior test architect type role.
- Deep understanding of Premier One Cad and Flex Cad systems.
