Product Management Co-Op (Spring 2025 - UIUC Research Park)

Motorola Solutions' innovation center at UIUC's Research Park is looking for a motivated, pursuit-driven intern with a passion for product management for a part-time Spring 2025 Co-Op. This position is for University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign students graduating in December 2025 or later. Only students currently enrolled at UIUC will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional team, consisting of the product management, user experience, and software engineering interns in developing customer-focused software solutions.

• Lead customer discovery sessions with service providers and their clients to determine the proper product/market fit for our solution.

• Work closely with the UI/UX lead on iterating fast prototypes and gaining customer feedback.

• Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure they are tackling the biggest challenges first and properly focused on their sprints.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with modern product management processes and techniques.

• Highly motivated individual who is energized and has a willingness to learn.

• Well-organized and ability to manage multiple assignments at once.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.

• Must be a student attending the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign; Majoring in Business or an allied discipline.

• Graduating year is December 2025 or later.

• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
