The Systems Integration Project Manager (PM) will assist in the planning deployment and testing of the above and below ground WMATA Radio Communications Systems. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, managing, and overseeing the activation of users onto the radio infrastructure. The PM will collaborate to develop and implement Test Plans, Procedures, and documentation in compliance with contractual requirements. Additionally, the PM will manage the approval process for WMATA program materials to align with the Inspection and Testing Program as outlined in the Prime Contract between WMATA and Motorola Solutions.
The PM will manage sub-projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.Ensures that sub-projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.Motivates the project team to ensure optimal performance.May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
The Program Manager (PM) will lead the overall management of the Radio Communications Systems Inspection and Testing Program as outlined in the Prime Contract between WMATA and Motorola Solutions. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, managing, and overseeing the development and implementation of all Test Plans, Procedures, and documentation in compliance with contractual requirements. Additionally, the PM will manage the approval process for WMATA program materials.
General Key Responsibilities Include:
Primary interface with customer for area of responsibilities for their specific sub-projects; Design & working sessions/ installations/ testing and status reports.
Directs & coordinates the work activities and subcontractors
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project
Develop a clear understanding of all contract requirements and negotiate all installation subcontracts
Control & inventory of equipment
Coordinate installation, optimization, testing & training
Prepare budget reports/ ensures the profitability of their project(s) or sub-projects
Specific WMATA Project Responsibilities Include:
Developing, executing, and reporting on Test Plans and Procedures for all major elements of the radio system, including the Core, Above Ground System, Below Ground System, Rail System, and Bus System.
Utilizing CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) standards to prepare detailed Test Plans, Step-by-Step Test Procedures, and Test Reports for all inspections and tests related to the WMATA radio system.
Ensuring the program meets the Inspection and Test Program requirements for each component, delivering required documentation and deliverables as detailed below:

Additional Preferred Skills:
Ability to work through issues in creative and effective ways, good communications skills; verbal and written.
Experience in at least one of the following area's preferred: Public Safety Communications, Transportation communications, Cellular infrastructure or military communications preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google Tools
OSHA Certification preferred
Position will require on-site supervision of large scale mobile radio installations of bus and rail cars
Target Base Salary Range: $86,500.00 - $173,000.00 USD

Basic Requirements- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of project/program management or similar business experience
- OR 5 years of project/program management or similar business experience
