Job Description
RapidDeploy is seeking a highly motivated, energetic hunter to help fuel our continued growth in mission critical public safety software services. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all phases of the sales cycle at RapidDeploy. You will be a trusted partner to prospective agencies and an advocate for RapidDeploy’ s products and mission…” Saving lives by reducing response times”. This role is specifically focused on developing and closing new sales opportunities and working with these agencies to educate them on the value and benefit of RapidDeploy SaaS public safety solutions. This is a virtual position with up to 75 % travel expectations. Candidates must live within the territory to be considered for this role. (North Central - Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin).
Required Background/Experience:
5 years selling SaaS Software
Experience selling to State and/or County Agencies
Preferred experience or knowledge in emergency services, 9-1-1, or public safety
Track record in managing the full sales life cycle from strategic regional plan
Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced and fast-growing company
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Enthusiastic attitude with a focus of delivering results
Experience using a sales tracking tool/CRM
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and successfully managing multiple sales opportunities Solid understanding technology: cloud computing, enterprise software, and data analytics
Passionate and articulate with excellent personal and phone presence
Enthusiastic attitude with a personal focus on delivering to sales targets and company goals
Essential Functions:
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
Strategic regional planning in alignment with company sales strategies
Seek to hold prospective customers accountable to their part in delivering to a co-created vision and timeline
Maintain current knowledge of the company’s solutions, industry, and competitive differences
Clearly communicate RapidDeploy’s value and mission
Act as a steward of the company in a professional manner at trade shows, social interactions, meetings and other industry events
Maintain accurate and timely sales information in the company designated sales tool/CRM
Consistent utilization of RapidDeploy’s sales process and sales enablement tools
Be a challenger – understand your target market, issues, decision makers, funding sources and proactively bring solutions that will provide a successful path for sales execution
Positive collaboration and communication with all team members across the RapidDeploy organization
Availability to travel up to 75%
Target Base Salary Range: $67,100 - $150,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
