Elevate Your Career : Software Engineering Intern Opportunity!
Are you ready to harness your technical skills and transform your passion into hands-on experience?
We seek passionate Software Engineering Interns with a strong interest in developing and maintaining Java / Spring Boot microservices and database solutions. Join our team to help expand our capabilities and deliver the next generation of real-time location intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Engage in Agile / Scrum methodologies- participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to optimize team performance.
Collaborative Development : Work within a global, multi-site environment, leveraging best practices in software engineering and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD).
Quality Assurance : Design and execute a comprehensive suite of tests-including unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance tests-to ensure the integrity and reliability of our applications.
Microservices Architecture : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure services that meet scalability and performance benchmarks.
Preferred Skills :
Proficiency in Java or .NET programming language.
Understanding of object oriented coding and design principles.
Experience in building and deploying RESTful microservices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex systems.
Knowledge of software engineering concepts related to the implementation and deployment of distributed microservices, such as REST API theory of operation, messaging (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.), and data storage / retrieval (e.g. in-memory cache, database).
Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks like AngularJS is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is advantageous.

Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) with a graduation date of December 2024 or later
