We are a locally owned business who's client list includes individual customers to fortune 500 companies. We are in the business of selling Electric motors, generators, air compressors, v-belts, pulleys and electrical components such as VFD's, contactors, overloads and push buttons. We offer industrial repair services for powertrain devices pumps compressors and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Shop Manager, The Electro-Mechanical technician will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing of electric motors, gearboxes, air compressors, generators, industrial machines, battery chargers, water pumps, and other various devices. We also build custom electrical control panels.
This job also includes but is not limited to sales, order entry, invoicing, parts ordering, practicing safe work techniques, forklift and hoists.
Most work is performed indoors. Some day travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance
- Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Understanding of hydraulics and HVAC systems
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and welding techniques
- Experience with high and low voltage systems
- Ability to use and understand voltmeters, ammeters and other test equipment
- Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
