Shipping and Receiving / Technician helper

Company Profile:

We are a locally owned business who's client list includes individual customers to fortune 500 companies. We are in the business of selling Electric motors, generators, air compressors, v-belts, pulleys and electrical components such as VFD's, Contactors, Overloads, push buttons and more. We offer industrial repair services for power train devices pumps compressors and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Shop Manager, The Shipping and Receiving / Technician helper will be responsible for the for the following:

• Utilizing a forklift, unload semi trucks.
• Check material into Quick books
• Stock shelves
• Organize customer product
• Interact with customers, checking in and out of customer parts
• Assist Technicians with cleaning parts, painting, cutting insulation, counting coils
• Any other jobs as needed.

This job also includes but is not limited to sales, order entry, invoicing, parts ordering, practicing safe work techniques.

Most work is performed indoors.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs
• Knowledge of Quick books is a plus
• Forklift trained is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
