Bar Manager

A very busy bar with huge beer garden looking for an experienced, seasoned bar manager. Must have bartender skills and outstanding managerial abilities. Must be excellent at delegating, recognizing staffing needs and follow-through to assist other departments in carrying out activities inside and outside.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

• Recruit, hire, train, and schedule bartenders, servers, and barbacks
• Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive work environment and address staff concerns.

Operations Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Manage inventory and stock levels for beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
• Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Customer Service:

• Ensure an excellent guest experience through quality service and product delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.
• Track sales, reconcile cash registers, and prepare financial reports.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase profitability.

Menu Development:

• Collaborate with team members to create and update drink & beer menus
• Research and introduce new beverages and trends to keep the menu fresh and appealing.

Compliance:

• Enforce liquor laws and regulations, including checking IDs to prevent underage drinking.
• Ensure proper licensing and training certifications for all staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
