Summary:
The Service Drive manager will oversee and direct the ASM’s in their performance of daily customer and group handling. The Service Drive manager will assist the ASM’s in the resolution of customer concerns and is responsible for holding the ASM’s and technicians accountable for their actions.
Essential Duties:
- Assist all dealership personnel in resolving any potential concern with customer service, vehicle service, or repairs as necessary
- Conduct weekly training sessions with the ASM’s to ensure their understanding and implementation of all policies and procedures- Ensure that the ASM’s and operators use proper telephone scrips as specified
- Investigate and report to the Service Manager on the status of all carryovers daily
- Review any open repair order over 3 days or older with the appropriate ASM to determine the state of completion
- Train and act as backup floater for every position in the service drive
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license; with 2 or fewer moving violations
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and build relationships with clients to ensure a high level of customer service, return business, and referrals
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematics skills
