Job Purpose
The role of the “Office Clerk T1” is to provide great customer service to our tenants, logistical support tracking, and coordinating inventory movements. Ensuring all visitors and truck drivers follow proper check-in procedures, security, and safety compliance. This position is to be the first point of contact to greet our customers’ truck drivers and visitors in the office and therefore must be able to communicate and present oneself in a professional manner.
Essential Duties
Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers using standard Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Email, Word, Xcel), and other standard office equipment.
Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.
Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual, processes outgoing mail.
Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Follow all Motus Energy LLC Policies and Procedures.
All other duties as assigned or requested by management.
Requirements
§ Must possess valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record that meets company standards.
§ Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
§ Bilingual (English and Spanish) is essential.
§ Successful completion and passing of company pre-employment background check, drug screen and other related testing.
§ Effectively communicate, orally (face to face and by telephone) and in writing, with coworkers, contractors, government officials and Senior Management
§ Read and understand written material including use and understanding of basic mathematics/numerical calculations. Ability to complete industry training as needed.
§ Must be able to deal effectively with people and resolve conflicts and problems.
§ Able to organize and prioritize multiple projects and adjust quickly as needed.
§ Ability to accept direction and work effectively & cooperatively with other people.
§ Must have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point). Project management software skills a plus.
§ Must possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with both company and contract employees.
§ Must be goal orientated, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Physical Demands
§ Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
§ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
§ Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
§ Must be able to hear and smell for deficiencies or hazards.
§ Overtime may be required and is anticipated.
Education
§ High school diploma or GED required.
Experience/specific knowledge:
§ Minimum of 2 years of clerical experience required.
§ Preferred working knowledge of liquid terminal and pipeline operations.
Working Conditions
§ Maintain regular, dependable attendance and an elevated level of performance.
§ Must be willing to work as needed and required.
§ Must be available to respond to emergency callouts as necessary.
§ Must be able to work with a team, take direction and guidance from Senior Management, keep required work schedule, focus on attention to details, and follow work rules.
§ Must be able to communicate effectively with fellow workers and demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
§ Must be able to withstand moderate noise levels.
