Maintenance Technician Reports to : Maintenance Lead / Manager Work Location : Old Fort, NCWe have an exciting opportunity at our Warrensburg, MO Facility for an A-player that is multi-faceted in the maintenance arena. The candidate must be shift-flexible, a problem solver, and a change agent who is excited about maintenance and taking it to the NEXT level. The Electrical Maintenance Technician position will be responsible for electrical, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance of facility and plant equipment.Duties / Responsibilities, Core knowledge : Installation, troubleshooting & repair of low & high voltage (single / three phase) industrial electrical & control systemsMaintain wiring to NEC standards and ensure any new wiring is within compliance. Upgrade outdated or unsafe electrical installations across the plantResponsible for electrical emergency & scheduled maintenance tasks across the plantRepair or replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, transformers, motors, and sensorsEnsure assigned projects are completed timely, correctly, safely, and to the highest quality standardComply with plant safety, quality, GMPs, current standard practices, and all other plant rules, policies / proceduresWork from ladders, lifts, elevated places, and confined spaces as requiredDaily handoff / communication with other shiftsDetail job status as appropriate to operators, management, and other maintenance personnel.Submit requisitions for repair / replacement parts as necessaryRegular hours / shifts may vary as production and maintenance coverage needs dictateSkills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements : 3 years of experience in electrical manufacturing Technical degree preferred Advanced skills or trades training requiredMust have previous electrical experienceMust be able to read, interpret, electrical prints, schematics & documentMust be able to use electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimetersMust have knowledge of Industry standard motion sensing & control devicesKnowledge of DC & AC motors & drivesKnowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, some welding experience, and electrical knowledgePLC programming a plusFanuc robot programming a plusKEY COMPETENCIESBehavioral Competencies - Common to all Motus PositionsIntegrity - Ironclad.
