Role Description
This full-time, in-office role as an Electrical Design Engineer/ Designer for various projects in our core markets. The day-to-day will include design engineering utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM. The engineer/ designer will take the conceptual design set by the design lead and develop the plan to full construction documents. The designer/ engineer will ensure efficient, coordinated, and effective system designs. Designs will contribute to the successful completion of projects with respect to quality, budget and deadline to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of design experience or or combination of design and field construction experience
- Proficiency in Revit, able to navigate program. SKM Powertools and AGi32 lighting software experience are a plus.
- Electrical design experience – emphasis on low voltage design, lighting and power systems, and relevant codes. Medium Voltage experience is a plus.
- Desired skills and design experience in healthcare, industrial, higher-education, aviation or datacenters
- Knowledge of national standards and codes.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus, but not required depending on relevant design experience.
