What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Principal K-6 position at Mount Abraham Unified School District?
The Mt. Abraham Unified School District seeks an educational leader to join the district’s dynamic administrative team in one of our wonderful elementary schools beginning in July, 2025. MAUSD is nestled in the Champlain Valley between Burlington and Middlebury. The district is rural and serves approximately 1270 students PK-12. The ideal candidate will be an instructional leader with excellent leadership and communication skills; have demonstrated success in building strong connections with students and families; have experience creating and supporting collaborative learning environments; possess and maintain knowledge of best practices and the use of data, particularly in literacy, math and within a multi-tiered system for academic and behavioral supports.
The individual must demonstrate enthusiasm; energy; humor; knowledge of effective teaching practices; school accountability systems, and a commitment to personalized learning.
Beeman Elementary, located in beautiful New Haven, Vermont, with an enrollment of approximately 90 students, has a rich history of promoting teacher leadership, collaboration, community support and student-centered learning environments.
The salary range is $105,000 - $125,000
