What You’ll Get:

Class Schedule: Flexible Options

Morning Class: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Evening Class: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Training Details:

Total Training Hours: 100

Duration: 6 Weeks
Compensation:

Rate of Pay: $7.25 per hour

Job Offers Post-Certification:
Upon certification and licensing, applicants may receive part-time ("on-call") dealer job offers at local casinos.
Compensation:
-
Starting Pay: $4.75/hour tips ("tokes")

Potential Earnings: $24 - $28/hour, including tips
Part-Time Schedule:
-
Typically, part-time dealers work 3 days a week.
-
Additional shifts may be available, particularly during holiday weeks.
Attire Requirements for Dealers:

Shirt: Blue Polo Shirt (provided by Mt. Airy)

Pants: Black khaki or dress pants (no yoga pants, sweatpants, or leggings)

Shoes: Black closed-toe shoes (dress shoes, loafers, heels, or sneakers)

Note: Flip-flops or sandals are not permitted.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board.
- Must have ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and employees.
- Ability to work long hours within a smoking environment, employee will be exposed to smoke.
- Must be able to work varied shifts during a 24-hour period, weekends and holidays are required as needed.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts or stressful customer interactions.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.

Other Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel.
