Position Overview:
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and the compliance with MACR policies and procedures, and supervises dealers and the operation of assigned table games to ensure game integrity and guest satisfaction. All duties are to be performed according to the policies and procedures of the Mount Airy Casino Resort and the regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Essential Job Functions:
- Enforces performance standards, policies and procedures relating to table games including but not limited to; Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini Baccarat, Baccarat, Three-Card Poker, Pai Gow, etc., ensuring compliance with the Gaming regulations.
- Responsible for checking bank roll from previous shift to ensure accuracy; assists Pit Manager in physical count of bankroll at shift change.
- Observes game, players and dealers, to ensure accuracy of game and ensures games played, and ensures game protection.
- Ensures that all games move at an appropriate pace.
- Promotes positive guest relations providing an enjoyable gaming experience by, answering questions, resolving disputes, calling beverage servers, etc.
- Assists in training and evaluating of subordinate employees in a fair and equitable manner.
- Responsible for tracking players, noting buy-ins, length of play, win/loss and average bet.
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and regulations as well as MACR’s internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Responsible, in cooperation with Pit Manager for pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions and responsibilities.
- Attends all necessary meetings.
- Assists in other projects as directed.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least three years experience as table games dealer with progressive supervisory experience required
- Strong organizational and leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to excellence.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the employees throughout all levels of the Mount Airy Casino Resort.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board.
- Must have ability to deal affectively and interact well with guests and employees.
- Must demonstrate leadership, fairness and sensibility to the guests and employees.
- Ability to work long hours within a smoking environment, employee will be exposed to smoke.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable license as required by the PGCB.

- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel.
