Executive Director - Senior Living Community
We are seeking an Executive Director for our Independent and Assisted Living Community for Seniors. Our staff of caring professionals have a strong sense of teamwork and community. Because our Seniors deeply appreciate what we do, we feel a great sense of purpose, dedication, and satisfaction from our work. We are looking for an ED with similar core values to join our team. If you have experience as an ED, an Asst ED leading 2-3 or more functional areas within a Senior Living Community, or have been an Operations Executive at a full-Service hotel and have a passion for Senior Living, please apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain high resident satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Lead work across all key departments
- Ensure all departments are working in a cost-effective manner
- Plan and implement improvements projects and new programs in conjunctions with key leaders across all key departments
- Assist with key Human Resources functions such as annual performance reviews, documenting performance issues, and staff terminations
- Analyze the root causes of issues and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner
- Provide comprehensive reporting on all operations across every department to Corporate oversight team
Skills:
- Strong working knowledge and experience running multiple departments within a Senior Living community
- Ability to oversee multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent big picture thinking as well as attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong computer skills: various platforms and applications
- Capacity for building relationships with a diverse group of staff, residents and residents’ families
- Strong employee coaching skills
- Self-motivated to get projects completed with minimal oversight
Qualifications:
Must have 5-7 years experience leading 3 or more departments in a successful Senior Living facility or experience leading all operations at a full-service hotel
Must pass the Oregon Division of Human Services Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug screen
BA degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
